Meet The Fans’ Agency’s newest signing: Danny Wilson.

Danny brings a wealth of football knowledge and experience to TFA, having clocked up more than 600 games as a professional and 1,000 games plus as a manager.

A former League Managers’ Association Manager Of The Year, two-time winner of the League Cup and the man who masterminded Barnsley’s promotion to the Premier League, Danny is heading up player acquisition and player care at TFA and has already been clocking up the miles as he meets potential stars up and down the country.

TFA’s Gareth Roberts caught up with Danny for our first ever Football Insiders podcast and spoke to the ex-midfielder about his playing days, winning at Wembley, the move into management, becoming the only man to manage Sheffield Wednesday AND Sheffield United and what it was like to manage the maverick talent of Paolo Di Canio

Danny also revealed more about his role at TFA, and why he has decided to swap the touchline for this new challenge.

The football agency that gets it right: owned by fans and run for players.

All players.

25% of The Fans Agency will be owned by the fans who can also own shares in the fees generated by individual players.

Supporting grassroots

A percentage of our revenue will go to supporting grassroots football across the country. We love the game - every game.

Caring for players

We’ll manage our players so they get the best out of their careers. We’re here to support them, not the other way round.

This is the way it should be done:

for the fans, for the players, for the beautiful game.

We believe we are the future football agency: one that charges reasonable fees, is transparent in the way it conducts itself and looks after the players, the fans and this beautiful game.

Finding, nurturing and developing players is core to our purpose – their careers matter. We’ll help them make the right choices for them. Not for us!

And then there’s the fans: not only will fans own 25% of The Fans Agency, they will also help us find that new talent. Moreover, they’ll help us decide how and where we spend our grassroots support funding, and as shareholders in the business, there’s the potential to benefit financially. This is about the fans and the game, not the agency.

Our ethos enables us to distribute our revenues in an entirely new way*:
